Husky Meadows cultivates a vibrant, diverse farm-scape using regenerative farming practices. We support a dynamic local food system through cooperation with neighboring producers.
Using our fresh produce, the kitchen inspires a creative line of artisanal prepared and shelf stable foods. Our kitchen also serves as a food lab experimenting with new produce varieties and recipes. Our hospitality and educational programing offers unique, immersive hands-on learning experiences for foodies, aspiring farmers and culinary professionals.
We operate a 2 acre certified organic market garden with an orchard and apiary. We are in the process of completing our commercial kitchen for prepared foods made with our produce. We grow for our CSA, farm stand, wholesale accounts, and our prepared foods.
As a certified organic farm we are committed to sustainable agricultural practices. We use a walk behind tractor for minimal tillage and field work is highly physical.
About the Job
We are a growing company and there is much potential for the right candidate. Our schedule is Monday through Friday 8-4, with potential overtime offered for farmers stand work on Saturdays. This position is available immediately and will go through mid-late October. The right candidate will then be considered for 2021 season full internship or other possibilities on our full time staff.
