Position Description

Element Farms grows pesticide-free, local, and premium baby greens in our high-tech, hydroponic greenhouse all year long. We deliver to our customers within 24 hours of harvest.


Element Farms is one of the only companies in the world that can grow pesticide-free baby spinach at commercial scale. We also grow other in demand crops like arugula, baby lettuces, beet greens, pea shoots, and more.


About the Job


Element Farms is looking for a dedicated and eager Sales Operations Assistant who is committed to customer service, enthusiastic about growing a business, and passionate about safe and sustainable food. The Sales Operations Assistant should be available about 35-45 hours per week. This job is mostly remote, but the right candidate lives in the tristate area and has his or her own vehicle to visit customers. This role reports to the CMO of Element Farms. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Making sales calls and taking orders
  • Visiting stores and tracking setups
  • Creating invoices
  • Surfacing new leads
  • Delivering/shipping samples
  • Setting up signage
  • Administrative tasks, both remote and at the greenhouse
  • Social media marketing

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience working in marketing, sales and/or customer-facing roles
  • Some digital marketing experience is a plus
  • Availability: Monday - Saturday, 8 am - 2 pm with potential for additional afternoon work hours
  • A quiet place to call customers
  • Strong internet connection
  • Driver’s license / reliable transportation (must have vehicle, expenses reimbursed)
  • Fluency in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus)
  • Proficiency with Google Docs and Sheets
  • Located in the tristate area and able to drive to customers in NY, NJ, and PA
