The Resilient Agriculture & Ecosystems (RAE) Program Associate will join the Wallace Center as a full-time paid position. The RAE team works to advance regenerative livestock grazing and related agriculture practices in the U.S. Upper Midwest as scalable, market-driven solutions for building healthy soils, viable farms, and resilient communities through the public-facing Pasture Project. This role will provide support for all RAE programmatic activities, as well as communications support.
We are looking for a motivated candidate who is exceptionally talented at multitasking on diverse tasks in a fast-paced and agile nonprofit environment. This individual should have the focus to handle complex, evolving responsibilities with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and attention to detail. These responsibilities include engaging and managing relationships with a wide range of internal and external partners and supporting work on various topics related to U.S. agriculture, livestock, and value-chain systems. This position will have the opportunity to support innovative efforts to advance regenerative agriculture and grazing outreach, education, and practice adoption in the Upper Midwest.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this position will be hired as a remote position with the option to transition to a Winrock office no earlier than 2021. Remote applicants are encouraged to apply, but international sponsorship is not available. Salary range is $50,000 – $60,000 and will be commensurate with experience and/or level of education.
